Look But Don’t Touch, Touch But Don’t Taste, Taste But Don’t Swallow.

“There’s this saying that ‘the artist calls the shots’. Who is there to say if art is right or wrong? I feel that the best paintings are the ones with an unrepeatable moment, like there’s this one shot moment. You don’t go back to your strokes that much. I also show the awkwardness of painting. I wanted to show the struggle to build the image, showing that it’s okay to paint like this. It’s okay to not be a perfect painter.”
